MY STORY
Entrepreneurial. Determined. Always Learning.
My formal coaching journey began with a desire to grow and develop myself as a manager and a leader. This stemmed from significant personal and professional challenges that were constantly getting me down, and made me realise that in order to change things and achieve my long term goals, I needed to revisit who I was and remake myself into the person I want to be.
Years before this, throughout my PhD and transition into financial services, I suffered from feelings of anxiety, loneliness, and self-loathing. I was inspired by famous coaches and motivational speakers such as Napoleon Hill, Earl Nightingale, Bill Campbell, Jim Rohn and Tony Robbins. Regular consumption of their content and visualising goals kept me going.
Revisiting the teachings of these inspirational people led me to pursue coaching. I was accepted into a world renowned executive coaching, training and leadership organisation. Through studying, taking on private clients, and seeking coaching and mentorship myself, I have come to realise that the seemingly colossal challenges I thought I couldn’t solve were actually not that difficult to work through. I realised I had the ability all along, I just needed to unleash it.
Coupled with my career as an entrepreneur and cofounder of a multi-million pound financial technology company, I possess a unique set of experiences and skills that I want to use to help others who are facing personal and professional challenges of their own. My belief is that we already have the solutions within us, but sometimes we need a little nurturing, compassion and support to unleash our potential.

ACHIEVEMENTS
I do not like writing about my achievements; I feel that there is far too much more to attain in life. The only real achievement I count is the act of setting and achieving a goal, not the goal itself. Like Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “It’s not the destination, it’s the journey”.
Below I have provided a list of a couple of my personal and professional accomplishments over the past few years in the hopes that this will help you understand where I am coming from and how I might help you with my knowledge and experience.
PHD, MATHEMATICS
2013
Mathematics was not a subject I enjoyed at first, but through study, one I came to love. I was incredibly fortunate to be given a scholarship to complete a doctorate in mathematics and grow my love for the subject.
It was during my studies that I learned about great mathematicians and philosophers such as Liebnitz and Euclid. The latter of whom has been a significant influence on my life, particularly through studying Euclid’s Elements which spurred my passion for learning about logics and artificial intelligence.
These philosophers ignited within me an innate desire to broaden my horizons and learn as much as I can while I still could. This led me to leave academia in pursuit of entrepreneurship, however I hope to return back one day (and hopefully be useful).
COFOUNDER, NIVAURA
2016 - present
While I was looking for the right opportunity in financial services, standard roles for PhD math grads didn’t appeal to me. Sure these were well paying and stable, quants are highly in demand, but beyond the academic interest these roles never really excited me. I thought to myself that I am only going to live once, and I owe it to the world and myself to try to do something amazing. If I failed, no one would care.
In my pursuit of entrepreneurship I was invited to start a company with a couple of experienced financial services professionals. I saw this as a once in a lifetime opportunity to throw myself head first into trying to truly build and innovate in a heavily encumbered industry, investment banking.
Fast forward a couple of years and we are now a multi-million pound fintech company entering a pivotal phase of our life - scaling. We believe we are on the cusp of truly innovating in investment banking and providing a suite of products to the industry that will profoundly change how investment banking works. I am incredibly grateful to be a part of this journey and the team we have.
COACHING, MEYLER CAMPBELL
2020
A world renowned and exclusive executive coaching and leadership development organisation, Meyler Campbell taught me to change my perspective on management and leadership challenges, and equipped me with tools to aid my development as a coach and leader. Alongside studying at MC I accumulated over 50 hours of coaching private clients in order to apply my training and explore different coaching styles and disciplines.
LECTURING, MBA and EXECUTIVE MBA, IMPERIAL COLLEGE
I lecture on the FinTech and Capital Markets courses, focusing on the use of technology in capital markets, the market structure and infrastructure, and new innovations such as Artificial Intelligence, Low-code / No-code, and blockchain.
